November 10 & 11 is Veteran's Free Day at the La Porte County Historical Society Museum! To honor Marines Founding Day and Veteran's Day, all veterans and active duty military are welcome to come to the museum free of charge. For free admission, a form of ID is required to show that you are a veteran or active military member. Acceptable forms of ID include: Affairs Card, Indiana Veterans Card, VFW, American Legion, and Driver's License with Veterans ID.

Come on down to the La Porte County Historical Society Museum on Saturday, November 12 for a Plank Owner Program! 

 

Rich Mrozinski will be unveiling two plank owner plaques from the USS Indianapolis and the Hoosier Boat. Speeches from Rich and other Vets will be part of the program. 

 

Veterans and all active military members get free admission all day!
