Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Omega Institute of Cosmetology


Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Omega Institute of Cosmetology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $13,122 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 72 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 22 students received grants or scholarships totaling $65,807 and 9 students took out student loans totaling more than $48,677.

Including all undergraduates (54), 38 students used grants or scholarships totaling $115,341, and 23 students took out $139,803 in federal student loans.
