Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at D'Jay's Institute of Cosmetology and Esthiology, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Louisiana students paid $12,100 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.
Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 26 students received grants or scholarships totaling $95,483 and 27 students took out student loans totaling more than $112,273.
Including all undergraduates, 104 students used grants or scholarships totaling $290,284. Another 94 took out $286,902 in federal student loans.
