About 61.8 percent of the 199 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Holy Cross in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Orleans conferred 72 bachelor's degrees and 29 master's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 39 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 25 master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration, General and 22 master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor.
The university enrolled 1,040 students for 2016-17, including 765 in undergraduate programs and 275 in graduate programs.
