Graduates earn 1,202 degrees, certificates from Northshore Technical Community College

About 36.9 percent of the 1,202 degrees and certificates handed out by the Northshore Technical Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Bogalusa conferred 440 certificates and 3 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Health Aide. Data shows the school gave out 184 certificates in Health Aide, followed by 164 certificates in Welding Technology/Welder and 126 certificates in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training.

The college enrolled 3,839 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
