Whats the average amount of discretionary income the average 20-30 yrold has after paying bills for the month?

1. it depends. some of those people will still be in school, so they would have little or no discretionary income. or if the people are uneducated, they might have even less than the student, as their income might barely cover their housing. yuppies are the ones with disposable income, which is often between 1/3 and 1/2 or more of their income, depending on the cost of living in the area. but there will be significant variation depending on things like marital status, children, etc.
