What is a good small government solution for illegal immigration?

What is a small government solution for illegal immigration that doesn't include growing the size, scope and power of the federal government, or more legislation infringing upon the personal rights of citizens? Or.. Are you really willing to give up some rights to get rid of the illegals? Do you think that you'll get them back when the illegals are finally gone, or does it matter to you? Thanks!

1. A good solution? hiring individuals who come from different backgrounds into the Homeland Security, who then in turn can help the government find and question those who are here without Visas or Green Cards. Crank up on the law. Why do i know the solution to this problem? My family comes from India. We know a lot Illegals who have come and gone.. and this is definetly a good solution as many of us full pledge citizens want them out as well.

3. harry ball. that is the most ridiculous hateful proposition ever. this is not Berlin. easy solution for the government, would be to create a cheap special visas or status for the type of people who end up immigrating illegally. or increase numbers on HB-1 visas. rights should never have to be taken away in any circumstances, and the US has already had some heat for human rights violations recently (cough Gbay). i am in favor of current immigration reform legislation in congress and want it passed ASAP
4. like the Gov from Arizona.....arrest them for trespassing.... then deport them....
5. Increase the minimum wage to $10 per hour and fine every employer that employs an illegal. At the moment, too few employers are fined.

7. The small government solution is to fine all employers of illegals(10,000 per illegal hired) Stop all benefits no social services or SSI no wic no insurance. Stop the kids of illegals from being legal. No free school. Nothing. It does not take more government to cut people off the teat. A simple no will suffice. They will all go home on their own.
8. There's no Illegal Immigration problem. The problem is with people like u thinking theres a problem. It wasn't a problem before sept. 11, 2001. No one was doing a thing about it. Until Mohamed F it up for all foreigners. People work illegally and there wasn't a problem. Pedro & Juan cut the lawn and ate tacos without a problem, now they hide from the people who hired them in the 1st place.
9. Simple - remove the magnets that draw them here. If we take away the multiple rewards and incentives that they get they will self-deport at their own expense. The oft quoted "we can't deport 12 million people" excuse is a joke to anyone who has any education on this subject. We know that we will not have to deport a single illegal in order for them to leave en mass. 1. No more anchor babies. This would only require a ruling from the supreme court on the abuse of the 14th amendment. Most scholars know the authors specifically did not want this abuse to occur. 2. No more welfare/housing/WIC/etc. Just require that every state that "administers" the federal programs follow our current laws that require citizenship. 3. No more jobs. Just require employers register all employees using e-verify. This program is so accurate it makes every other federal agency a joke. The hollow echoes of problems are unfounded. 4. No more amnesty - ever. If we told all illegals that they will NEVER gain citizenship via illegal entry and stand by that decision it will help. 5. Remove the family reunification system. Use a points system that only allows limited numbers of educated and needed immigrants. A person can only bring immediate family and they face a lifetime ban on all social programs. 6. Lifetime ban on legal entry for any reason if caught here illegally. If you are caught here you will never be able to travel here again. 7. Require foreign workers/employers who want visas to prove they are really needed and no citizens can do the job. Visas are horribly abused. We currently have millions of unemployed tech workers (taking unemployment) while foreigners are still coming in. If we did these things almost all illegals would leave, no rights taken from anyone, taxpayers would save billions, no more illegals would come and millions of citizens would get back to work.
10. Fix the bloody computer system so that it tags bad SS numbers then fine the heck out of the employers that are breaking the law. Eventually people will self deport.
11. The Real I.D. with funding for local law enforcement and the teeth it came with. (Obama is trying hard to cut the funding to local governments for local immigration enforcement and cut the enforcement to the Real I.D.) E Verify expanded to all the employers in the nation. It is simple, effective, and if the Federal Government works to spot the fake I.D.s and funds it mandates, it will finally enforce the law of the land. And no mistake about it: when the Democrats say the immigration law is broken, what they are actually saying is they want to re-write the law the way they want it. What they want can be found in the horrendous Medical Bill the Senate, or the House, passed. No, no, no!
