What is romeo and juliets willingness to die for each other a contrast to? Is it a contrast to the hate between the two families? Just trying to do my english coursework, any help appriciated :) Thanks.

  1. Yes, I guess so.
  2. Their willingness to die is in direct contrast to what their families believe in. Look at the relationship of the two families to one another. Then look at the relationship between Romeo and Juliet. What the families believe and what the couple believe is totally at odds, so you are correct. Good job.
  3. romeo and juliet are madly in love with each other. their willingness to die is so that they can be with each other for the rest of their lives. and yes it is a contrast to the hate between the families because their parents are too stupid to see that they were meant to be together.
